How does per-home pricing work?

You pay one annual fee based on the number of homes in your community. Every board member and resident gets access — there are no per-seat or per-user charges on top.

What's the difference between Board Edition and Community Edition?

Board Edition covers internal operations — document storage, violations, work orders, and meeting management. Community Edition adds a resident-facing portal, online payments, and the AI CC&R assistant.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. We offer a 30-day guided trial for qualifying communities. Contact us and we'll set up a live environment using your actual documents.

Is setup included?

Yes. Every subscription includes onboarding support — we help you import your data, configure your settings, and train your board before go-live.

Can we switch editions later?

Yes. You can upgrade from Board Edition to Community Edition at any renewal. We'll prorate the difference.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept ACH bank transfer and check for annual invoices. Credit card is available for monthly billing (contact us for details).

What is your cancellation policy?

Subscriptions are annual. To cancel, provide 60 days' advance written notice before your renewal date — there are no early termination fees. Multi-year options are available for communities that want to lock in their rate.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. If you have not yet gone live with Hivepoint and decide within 30 days of your start date that it is not the right fit, we will issue a full refund. Once your community is live and actively using the platform, the annual subscription is non-refundable.

Can we control which notifications residents receive?

Yes. Notification preferences are configurable at the community level and by individual residents. Boards can set defaults for announcement emails, payment reminders, and violation notices. Residents can adjust their own email and SMS preferences from the resident portal.
