Hivepoint
Built for self-managed HOAs

HOA management software that works for volunteer boards

Most HOA software is designed for property management companies with full-time staff. Hivepoint is built for the treasurer who does this on evenings and weekends — simpler screens, faster setup, and a price that makes sense when you're not a business.

Why most HOA software doesn't fit small self-managed communities

Enterprise HOA platforms like Caliber, Enumerate, and AppFolio were built for management companies that run dozens of communities with dedicated staff. They charge accordingly — $5,000 to $20,000+ per year — and come with enough complexity that you need training just to run a dues report.

On the other end, platforms like PayHOA or HOA Ally are built for small communities but focus almost entirely on online payments. If you need to track violations, manage ARC requests, store governing documents, or run a P&L — you're back to spreadsheets.

Hivepoint sits in between: a full-featured board management platform designed from the ground up for self-managed communities of 30–200 homes, at a price that doesn't require HOA board approval.

What Hivepoint does

Dues & assessment tracking

Log annual dues, special assessments, and late fees. See who's current and who's delinquent at a glance. Aging reports export to PDF or CSV.

Violations & ARC management

Record covenant violations with photos, track status through to resolution. Manage architectural review requests with a structured workflow.

Document library

Store your CC&Rs, bylaws, meeting minutes, financial statements, and vendor contracts in one secure, searchable location.

Financial reports

Profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports your accountant will actually recognize. No setup required — they populate from your dues data.

Full audit trail

Every change is logged — who did what, when. Board succession becomes seamless because nothing lives in someone's personal email account.

Resident portal (optional)

Community Edition adds a resident-facing portal at your HOA's own domain. Residents pay dues online, download documents, and submit ARC requests — no phone calls needed.

Two editions — pick what fits

Not every HOA needs a resident portal. Hivepoint offers two editions so you only pay for what your community actually uses.

Who Hivepoint is for

Hivepoint is the right fit for:

  • Self-managed HOAs of 30–200 homes that don't use a property management company
  • Communities currently running on spreadsheets, QuickBooks, or a combination of disconnected tools
  • Boards that want residents to be able to pay dues online and access documents — without the board having to manage a website
  • Treasurers who want to produce a real financial report for their annual meeting without exporting data to Excel first
  • Communities switching off PayHOA, HOA Ally, or similar tools that have outgrown basic dues-only platforms

Hivepoint is not built for property management companies, large master-planned communities (500+ homes), or commercial/condo associations with complex accounting needs.

What setup actually looks like

Most HOA software puts the setup burden on you. Hivepoint is different: we do the onboarding.

1

Send us your data

A spreadsheet with your lot list, owner names, and current dues balances is all we need to start. Most boards have this already.

2

We build your environment

We provision your isolated database, configure your board branding, and import your data. This takes 1–3 business days on our end.

3

Your board is live

We walk your board through the desktop app on a 30-minute call. Most boards are running their first dues report the same day.

Common questions

Do we need IT support to set this up?

No. We handle all of the technical setup. Board members install the Windows desktop app like any other program, and the resident portal (Community Edition) works in any browser on any device.

Is our data stored with other HOAs?

No. Every HOA gets a completely isolated database. Your dues history, owner records, and violation logs are never commingled with another community's data.

What happens if we cancel?

We export all your data in standard formats before closing your account. No lock-in.
